Botanical Name: Phlox paniculata Description: Finally, a dwarf version of a cottage garden classic! The Flame series of phlox features improved mildew resistance and a shorter stature. Blooms of Purple Flame are bright magenta purple, with an almost imperceptible white eye. Growing only a foot tall, its compact habit makes it an ideal choice for container plantings, but it’s equally outstanding in beds and borders, or planted along walkways where its pleasant perfume can be fully appreciated.
